Album covers I Like

I am going to take inspiration from these different album covers in many different ways. A lot of them are plain simple ideas with minimal features where there is not much to it but has a big affect on the audience.

Lighting

We have watched this video in order to learn about the three different lights we are going to use in our music video. We have learnt from this how they work together and how, but using or not using them in different ways, it can create different moods and atmospheres in the shot and also how we can make shots look good and create a focus of attention.
Key Light: This is the main light of all three of them and it is always needed so the subject that is being pictured can be seen properly and it puts focus on the subject.
Fill Light: The fill light is on the other side of the subject shining light on them so fill in the shaded parts of it to make it fuller and can be seen properly and has a more natural light to it and makes it more realistic. This is sometimes turned off to create a more dramatic and moody kind of picture because it creates a shadow and makes the frame darker.
Hair Light: The hair light and a light down from above and makes the subject stand out a lot more and separates the outline of the subject from the background.
